Comments Mike Severns runs a nice operation with modest size groups (we had about 12 on the boat. The took us to the inside of Molokini Crater and gave a very thorough briefing of the fish action we could witness. The dive guides are very attentive, almost obsessive, with finding and showing macro critters. We were blessed with about a 7' Manta from the moment we entered the water and it cruised around our area for a good amount of the dive offering good photo op in the clear, well lit water. While the manta was buzzing around a small white tip shark came up the sand from the depths. Nice coral and sand bottom rolling topography. Lots of large garden eels in the sand area.

On the second stop of our two tank trip we dove an area in south Maui off "Little Beach" and it must have been turtle day as we saw 15-20 green sea turtles, many at cleaning stations. We also saw several large white mouth moray eels amongst the coral. The current was a bit swift so that added some fun to the dive. Mike Severns has great dive guides that are very thorough and do all your gear. The have good coffee, fruit, juice and cookies as well.
