Comments We dove with Mike Severns for two days on Maui. They leave very early to get out to Molokini before the hoards of dive boats and snorkelers. They have very yummy treats on board – the cinnamon rolls are to die for. Their dive briefings are very detailed – entrance/exit, dive site geography, and most importantly, lots of info on what type of fish and critters that you’ll see.

We dove many different sites around Molokini – seeing lots of White Tip and Gray Reef sharks. The back wall is an incredible wall dive. After our 3 tank dive, the trip back from Molokini to the harbor was a wild trip – they hand out rain jackets which you definitely need.

We also dove 85 foot Pinnacle and La Perouse on one of the 3 tank dive days. More sharks and lots of big morays. Also, lots of Pacific tropicals – including a pretty rare Flame Angelfish and Reticulated Butterflyfish. The divemasters are great at spotting lots of cool stuff and make sure that everyone can see them.

UW Photo Comments After one dive, I realized that my camera had disappeared. I had clipped it to my guages, but one of the clips was broke. They went in to look for it, but no luck. I appreciated their efforts. (It was thinking that it was time for a new camera - now I was sure of it!)
