Comments Jacks diving locker is well organised and ran. Three boats. They have classic dives (that are more suited to beginner divers) and advanced dives (that are well suited to divers). we went out with them for three days of diving. There were whales everywhere with some breaching. The skipper went of his way to stop and look for them and stayed with them for quite some time. Some of the calfs were breaching which was spectacular. All the time the skipper kept the minimum distance - which we liked. He would stop the props if they were around. The diving was very good. Hard corals - no soft corals. Two different dive masters lead the dives, Allison and Ryan (and Jim on one). All were very good. Allison did an amazing job of continually pointing out the tiniest things like leaf fish and nudibranch, eels and small octopus. Which really made the dives - almost all of the best stuff is the small stuff. Except for the mantas which cruised by us in a line at 15 metres depth. They passed by slowly and in perfect formation for filming on the gopro. Another thing I liked was the long dive time - Allison stayed the 70 ~ 75 minutes of dive time - nice for those of us that don't like coming up. Ryan fixed a problem with the first stage on the boat which was pretty neat. The only issue I had was that the diving was pretty expensive compared to other places I have been. If you dont mind the cost you will have some great diving. Take a torch - you will see twice as much stuff as it tends to hide under and inside the corals.
