Comments Jack's is a large shop and dive operation and my group of about 20 fitted easily onto the boat. Keller, the divemaster, and the crew were professional and helpful. Oxygen and first-aid supplies were available along w/ life jackets. One can rent anything needed. Snacks and sandwiches were served during the surface interval between dives as well as cool water and juice. However, divers were required to find their wetsuit after it was rinsed and all the rest of their kit from the tanks and place them in their mesh bags (divers' own) before the boat docked; I haven't encountered this anywhere else. The divemasters handed out business-sized cards after each trip w/ their names and the sites we dove.
The reefs were healthy-looking w/o any fans or gorgonians. Lots of reef fish of all types as well as the featured Flame Angel. Critters were hard to find. Very few big fish. Visibility is not as good as many Caribbean locales. The highlight is the night dive w/ manta rays doing aquabatics as they filter feed the plankton attracted by the divers' lights. It's not like the consecration ceremony in "Parsifal", but rather scores of divers draped all over coral heads along w/ many more snorkelers looking down from above. It is also a bit annoying to have more people loaded onto an already crowded boat for this one dive.
I also recommend the Expedia "Local Experts" scattered around the resorts for the best deals on shore excursions (and there are some very good ones).
