Comments I found the Ed Robinson dive staff to be a very friendly and professional bunch. Ed himself came out each day to greet the guests at the boat ramp pre dive, at the very early start time of 6:30am. The crew are very attentive and basically do everything for you if you want. Change tanks, rinse gear, fix malfunctioning second stage (thanks Ricardo) etc. The boat was relatively cramped but was fine. Entry was a giant stride from the side and reboarding from the rear via ladders.
Pre dive briefing was informative and interesting. The staff did their best to meet requests made for dive sites and type of dive.
The diving itself was a little disappointing, not a great deal of coral and the amount of fish life seemed low. However the visibility was good and the dive masters did their best to point out interesting stuff.
My only negative for experience was the cost, I'm sure the overheads for Maui are high but not sure it justifies how much they charge.
Overall I would recommend this dive outfit. Maui as a dive destination not so much.

UW Photo Comments There was no rinse tank on board and so housing/rig had to wait till we were back on shore before being able to rinse off the sea water. Crew were great in handing off and taking back on board the camera rig during dives.

Best diving in Maui is actual off bigger boats that go to Lanai (such as Lahaina Divers) or the shore dive at Black Rock at the Sheraton.
