Comments We were a party of 5 (beginner to divemasters) and were treated like royalty. The first day they gave us a boat to ourselves and said "tell us where you want to go." The staff are wonderful and they just can't do enough for you. The diving was great! We saw mantas on the 1st and 3rd day (they just kept going by). The tropical fish were beautiful and plentiful. On the last dive of the last day we came across 2 very large octo having a courtship. It was amazing. We did an extended safety stop just above them. What a great end to a great trip. We have been diving with Ed Robinson several times and it just keeps getting better. We stayed at a condo (Kihei Akahi) less than a half mile from the boat and were very pleased with the location. The locals are very friendly and fun to visit with.

We also did some shore diving on our own and found it to be very good as long as you go in the morning before the waves start. It can be a little murky when the sand gets kicked up. The Big Island is very good, but Maui is one of the best kept secrets.
