Comments I have been enjoying Ed Robinson Diving Adventures and their wonderful service since 2001. I have been visiting Hawaii mostly Maui and diving there since 1980. I was happy to have discovered Ed Robinson’s and his dive guides in 2001 but I wish I discovered them eariler. Robinson's guides know the area and find some of the best stuff to see and photograph. They are proud to give you what they call “Aloha service”. Sometimes it’s nice to be pampered. I have noticed that as the years go by and I continue to visit Maui the service has gotten better with this provider and that was hard to do since it was so good to begin with. My observation is based on 45 Maui trips for either instruction and or just diving. On some of these trips I have tried a few other dive services but I quickly returned to Ed Robinsons. Ed Robinson only associates his operation and himself with the best, I would like to mention instructor Bill Hannan a wonderful instructor who is a PADI course director. Bill is no check the box instructor he teaches so you can develop muscle memory with the skill; you don’t just perform the task once, get the box checked and move on. Once I met Bill (800) 874-5529 I knew I wanted to become the best diver I could be and his instruction took me from an AOW certification to PADI master diver which has allowed me to really enjoy myself, safely. ERDA has two boats that leave from the south Kiehi boat ramp and usually visit the crater and most nearby dive sites.
Last week I was waiting to board Ed’s boat and he showed up as he does just about every morning. Not only does he greet his customers and chat it up, he is very generous with his time and knowledge (photography). I had just upgraded my Lightroom software to 2.7 ver. and my camera raw converter vanished. Ed not only spent time helping me diagnose the issues but offered to meet with me to look at my photos. He was willing to critique my photos and help me improve my photography skills. (Believe me they need help) Ed is truly a friend to underwater photography. Note his website links to groups like NCUPS and other underwater photo clubs.
If you’re on vacation and want to be pampered by genuine good quality people that care about your experience, then dive with Ed Robinson in Maui.

UW Photo Comments Camera tables used by all divers both photo and non photo divers. They have two large seperate buckets on board for cameras. Their Captains and dive masters are careful with your equipment and know how to handle your cameras, housings, arms, and strobes. The only reason I gave them a 4 is because the tables are not exclusive to photographers. I want it all and a little more.
