Comments My wife and I did 2 boat dives with NOA Plongee. They were a typical small dive operation with staff that didn't seem to be focused on customer satisfaction. They just seemed to be going through the motions and collecting our money. They have a good 26' RHIB Zodiac that makes a fine dive boat. The conditions were rough the day we dove, with 5' swell. We dove near the south-eastern point of Guadeloupe (La Pointe des Châteaux) in strong surge. The fish abundance and variety were much lower than at the Cousteau Reserve in Basse-Terre. The dive sites were open to the prevailing winds, so rough conditions were not unusual. We were underwhelmed with this dive operator. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day? On a calmer day, the dive sites around Désirade might be better? My suggestion would be to dive at the Cousteau Reserve or Les Saintes instead.
