Comments This was a first rate trip. The boat was full and several of us had already been to the Galapagos Islands before.

Wolf was a pretty tough ticket. The current and surge were very strong, especially the surge which probably swung us back and forth by 50 feet or so. Photography was nearly impossible in these conditions. We did see a nice group of eagle rays and lots of hammerheads. Lots and lots actually. We did a night dive as well and I enjoyed that a lot.

Darwin was pretty spectacular. We saw a school of dolphins that were chased away by a pod of orca whales. So the diving was pretty good before we even got in the water. Under water we saw a half dozen whale sharks and a bazillion hammers. We were surrounded by silky sharks on most dives.

We also did Cousins which was very nice. We dove with marine iguanas in the cold water at Fernandino. We saw red lipped batfish, mola molas, galapagos bullhead sharks while at the site at the northern tip of Isabela.

Walter, the leader of the Aggressor crew was outstanding and was always looking to get us a great experience. The crew could not have been better. I have not been on an Aggressor for about ten years, but they did a great job compared to many of the private boats that I have been on in the past 5 years.

UW Photo Comments Two of us had large DSLRs units and the others on board all had smaller units. With a much higher presence of DSLRs, things would have gotten pretty crowded. But for us, it worked just find.
