Comments The French Polynesia Master is absolutely, by far, the best dive boat we have ever been on. Unlike most dive boats I've been on, the boat was built and operated to SOLAS standards. All the latest in electronics, safety equipment, bottom line It is SAFE! And the crew was well trained and accommodating - 29 crew for 25 passengers! Diving was in the numerous passes through the atolls. Lots of sharks, including a tiger shark, white tips, black tips, and grey sharks, manta rays, eagle rays, and even 4 dolphins that came by to swim with the divers and be petted. Getting there is the only problem, but Air Tahiti is a good airline. If a photographer be sure to purchase the premium ticket that allows 2 50# bags. Overall, an amazing trip.
