Comments This was a Caradonna dive travel familiarization trip for dive travel agents. We stayed at Waidroka Bay Resort for our first five nights. A small family style resort near Beqa Lagoon with awesome diving for all. Good food, good lodging, and great diving. Gear was loaded and set up for us each day. Young dive staff from Australia, boats a little worn but safe and comfortable. Dive sites were awesome and on the par with Wakatobi. We did a 16 mile white water rafting trip on a down day that we highly recommend and a extreme shark feeding two tank dive that does not compare anywhere. Then they moved us over to Wananavu for another five nights. We also visited two other operations (Yanuca Island was one) and that I will report on separately as they were just tours of their operations. One at Beqa Lagoon and the other a short ride from Wananavu that also operates one of the two Live-a-board dive operations. Can't say enough about Wananavu's dive staff - simply the best bunch I've come across. The resort is well operated and our only disappointment was the restaurant service. Although the 45-60 minute boat rides to the best dive sites in Bligh waters may concern some. I preferred Waidroka Bay to Wananavu for the diving and family feeling of the experience.
