Comments Volivoli is a family owned resort. ALL the rooms look out onto the ocean (nice views). Rooms are comfortable and quiet. The restaurant menu includes daily specials plus a nice selection. You will not go hungry - in fact, the challenge is not to gain weight! Staff is friendly.

Diving is in the Bligh area of Fiji, mostly in the Marine Park. Lots of small stuff, healthy reefs, both soft and hard corals with lots of variety. My pictures show several critters that I had not seen before (and I've been to Fiji two other times). Fun diving. If you do three-tanks, you preorder lunch to eat on the boat.

On Thursdays the resort invites the local villagers to sing and dance, so you get a nice cultural experience. There is also a buffet of local food.

The dive operation is well run. Overall, a place we would definitely recommend.

UW Photo Comments They did not have a dedicated camera room, but one is in the plans. We took our cameras back to our room and charged our batteries when we were in our room. They use Australian 3-prong plugs. There are separate rinse tanks for cameras versus wetsuits versus BCDs/regulators at the resort. On the boats, there is a separate rinse tank for cameras versus one for masks, etc.
