Comments The crew of the Nai'a worked well together as a team. Everyone had a role and knew what was expected of them. Their interaction with guests was always relaxed and accommodating. Nitrox fills were consistently 31%. Tanks were reliably close to 3000psi on every fill. Diving was from skiffs which may prove challenging for some divers, but the skiff operators were always there to take gear and assist divers in boarding. A ladder was available if you needed it. Overnight crossings were relatively calm, but engine noise may interrupt some light sleepers. Consistently did 4 dives per day. Night dives offered on several occasions.

Weather was a bit of a let down, but you can't complain about that. Fish life was abundant and varied. A couple dives had numerous sharks, barraducas, mackerels, wahoo, jacks, etc. Most dives were around pinnacles and reefs that were covered with hard and soft corals and abundant reef fish.

Cabins were economical, but varied. Bunk beds vs. queen/king significantly affected cabin layout. Call ahead before booking to maximize your floor space. In-cabin storage was adequate, and excess baggage can be stored in bottom shelves of the camera room. All cabin had ensuite bathrooms and individual a/c control. Meals were varied and well-cooked - not overcooked.

Dive staff was knowledgable and did thorough briefings before dives. A village visit mid-way through the week gave guests a bit of local color. The evening meal that day was a lovo - traditional foods cooked in an in-ground oven with hot rocks covered with banana leaves. Take a flashlight on the village visit.
