Comments This was my first live aboard. I got back two days ago. I have been diving since 1982 from land based resorts and have always felt anxious about going on a live aboard. The only negative I have to report is that the rooms are approximately equal to very nice motor home accomodations. However, you are only in them for sleeping.

Now that that is out of the way here are the positives (and believe me they outweigh the previous commend 10 to 1). First, I thought the NAI'A crew was 5 star outstanding. They were very knowledgable, courteous, and helpful. No dive restrictions were maintained and from my perspective all the guests dived with experience and maturity. The dive guides (Sonia, Grant, and Rich) were the best I have dealt with in 25 years of diving. They were patient, funny, informative and very, very knowledgable. The food was superlative and abundant (and very healthy). Sulie served us 4 times a day. I saw her up at 4:30AM and she worked until I crashed at night at 9PM. We also had the pleasure of diving with Robb the owner and founder who joined us on this dive. He is a remarkable individual who is patient, kind, and wrote the book on 'resourcefulness' (check out the dvd on the building of the NAI'A-this cat is truly amazing). I could not give this operation enough kudos. I was amazed at how fast the days went by with 4 dives per day. Also, the other passengers were very interesting and by the end of the trip, I had made several new friends. However, if you wanted your private space, there was more then enough time and spots for that. Now for the most important part...diving in Fiji rocks! Every thing you have heard about soft corral and fish life is true! I plan to rebook another trip on the NAI'A as soon as possible.
