Comments The Namenalala reef has many dive sites so it is possible to have spectacular dives in any weather conditions. The soft corals are out of this world in color and variety. The hard corals are comparable with the best we have seen anywhere. Everything is alive and undamaged. The Moody's Namena "resort" is small (only 6 bures) and remote. There were only a few other couples there during our visit. The staff is friendly and helpful while also being safety conscious. Each bure is accessible by trail and completely isolated with spectacular views. The resort is very eco-friendly with salt water and composting toilets, wind and solar power which are supplemented with generators for the compressor. Alot of the food is raised on the island. The resort is relatively expensive because of the high staff to visitor ratio and the cost of importing supplies. If you enjoy being away from it all (no phones, television, air conditioners) as much as we do you will have a terrific time and the cost will be well worth the beautiful experience.
