Comments The resort is small (30 rooms) and has two dive boats that are comfortable for 10-12. The dive sites are truly close to the resort and the boat rides were an easy 10-20 minutes for the first dive. The crews all had a great sense of what spots to hit for best coral viewing without massive current issues. They will take special requests but you're probably better off listening to the captain's recomendations. Otherwise, you may just see the Great White Wall while its just a black drop off.

Divers should be ready for current that shifts depending on location during the dive and should be comfortable with safety stops without lines in moderate current. Briefs were good, often with visual provided on a slate by the captain. The guides went at a slow enough pace for photography when the current wasn't too high and were eager to point out any critter of interest. Among sightings over 5 days of diving: banded sea snake, octopus acitve during daylight, several reef sharks, dolphins on the surface, several large turtles, multiple eel species, lion fish on display.

Nigh dives available when afternoon weather permits, which may only be once or twice a week given that afternoon rains during this season are common. Surface intervals were at a fantastic beach on the larger island across the Somosomo Straight.

The rooms at the resort are not fancy, the bathrooms could use some work but the air conditioning more than made up for any lack of decor and made fast work of drying clothes hung out on the balcony. Food was basic but usually tasty although you may want to think twice about the offerings at the weekly BBQ as quite a few guests went down ill that night.

Overall, great diving, good living conditions if you're not looking for luxury, and a very friendly staff.
