Comments nature island dive is a first class outfit from the front office to the captains to the dive guides; dove with several different dive guides. all are excellent. we've become friends with them all. simon, the owner, is also a first rate photographer. we made 12 dives, all but one within the soufriere caldera. diving here is wonderful. all short boat rides with only a few fellow divers and surface intervals back at the dock. we stayed in the galette cottages rented out through nature island dive--very comfortable and functional with full facilities to cook (which we usually do when we dive travel). dominica is a place to dive and lay back--not a hot night life place. dominica can be a bit difficult to get to but it is definitely worth it. this was our second trip in two years and we'll be heading back many more times.
