Comments Virginie and Remi, the owners of Cabrits Dive Center and also the divemasters are simply the easiest people to dive with. I had emailed that my friend had a difficult time with equalizing and they took great care with her. They had some experienced divers who dove their own profiles, but we stuck with watching time and air. Generally, we did shallow dives, as rusty divers, we dove with the newer divers. Most dives were at least an hour. Both Virginie and Remi take care to point out the creatures we sometimes swim by, and I got to see my first seahorse in the wild. They have coffee and snacks between dives. No separate camera area, but they are helpful with finding safe places for them and handing them up and down in the boat.
Today’s dives had not great visibility due to extensive rainstorms, but we still had a good time with a wreck dive and reef dive. Many eels, sea snakes, trunkfish, pufferfish, and all the regular assortment of colorful reef fish. There are also many nudibranches here and I got to see a blue and yellow leaf nudibranch on the same piece of coral!
I chose my accommodation poorly as we are on the opposite side of the island so if I were doing this again, I would stay closer, in Picard Beach, perhaps.
