Comments Over Thanksgiving. Dive operations are quite good, organized check-in/out/reservations, good rental equipment, lockers with hanging space, and membrane nitrox 32-33%. Boats are large [weren't full] with good shaded areas. Dive masters mostly lead the dives, not a lot of critter pointing [but then again not a lot of odd critters, just the usual Caribbean suspects]. Huge lionfish on every dive, and no restaurant with lionfish on the menu! Divers 50% dutch, 50% americans. Stayed at Avila Beach [very nice] and got a pick up every morning after breakfast. Best diving was to east end [3 dives there over our 4 days] with very healthy coral and sponges and lots of fish. West end [towards Willemsted] poorer viz but overall still good. Klein Curacao is a long trip [was a bit bumpy] for average diving and a long surface interval [lunch, snorkeling, walk on the island etc] but lots of turtles. Had wake riding dolphins on one of the east trips. Did not dive mushroom forest or Superior Producer.
