Comments This is a government owned operation like all businesses in Cuba, so not really motivated employees. The DMs were professional and safety was a must to prevent accidents with the hand fed sharks. It was a long dusty pot hole road to the shore dive, but the bus was reasonable. You have to carry all your own gear, so if your not used to steel tanks, better get in shape to hump them around.

We also shore dived Bay of Pigs, beautiful walls, sponges and corals, but the locals have fished it out.

We flew to Caya Largo, nice resorts and fantastic beaches, several nice dives, but not worth the "effort" and money to travel there. Better diving in Caymans.

UW Photo Comments This was a Bull Shark dive at the bottom of a 100 year old wreck. Plenty of growth and photos of sponges and corals. The only fish were typical caribbean species in deco stop. But the sharks were worth the effort and 12 min. deco stop.
