Comments [None]We booked the 10 day with 2 days in Havana and the balance on the Aggressor. Havana was an amazing , beautiful city that is falling apart due to lack of investment. Very inexpensive to eat, shop, and enjoying the city. Be ready to haggle over prices. The 6 hour bus trip from Havana to the dock was eye opening. We saw a man plowing a field with a ox and a single furrow walk behind plow. There were more horse and mule carts on the road than cars. The Aggressor was on par with there other boats. Cabins were side by side beds, tight restroom, nice lounge and dive platform. All the diving were from rigid pangas that were larger and more comfortable than other trips. The diving was wonderful with very pristine reefs, Large numbers of Reef Sharks and Silky Sharks, and large Numbers of Huge Grouper like we saw 35 years ago. We typically did 4 dives per day with 2 Night Dives. One of the most unique sightings was snorkeling with Salt Water Crocodiles. We tried unsuccessfully once and went back the next day and saw 2 crocs with 1 getting close enough for some very good pictures. The food was plentiful but fairly plain yet very good. The crew was great. Greeting you after every dive with music, dancing, and a Hot Towel. After the night dives we had Spiked Hot Chocolate. Overall it was a Great Trip and I would highly recommend going while we still can.
