Comments Had a great week diving in the Queen's Garden, on the central/southeast coast of Cuba. The Jardines Aggressor I did not disappoint: great crew, great food, and fun diving. All dives are from tenders. We had a full boat, with 20 divers, so there were 10 on each tender. Two divemasters for each group. Dives were led by DM, with other DM following to be sure no one went astray, but there was no "herding" of the group. If you were slow to take photos, as I was on most dives, the rear DM patiently waited. Sharks, sharks, and more sharks on most every dive. Lots of groupers, snappers, a few turtles, couple of eagle rays, lots of small tropicals and macro photo ops. Vis ranged from 35-70', with recent heavy rains leaving some particulates in the water. Minimal current. Water was warm at 88 degrees F. We were lucky to have rain on only two evenings, after diving was done for the day. The trip we were on included an initial day in Havana, with a morning lecture by a marine biologist, followed by a tour of Havana. Didn't get to spend much time at any one place in Havana, due to tight schedule, but the day was fun. The only bad part of the trip was the bus ride from Havana to the boat, and the return to Havana. 6+ hours on a bus - not fun. The boat was nice and roomy, salon was on the middle deck, and dining room was on upper deck, with an outside seating area around the hot tub. The sun deck was way to hot in August, with no shaded areas available. The only time it got much use was on the last day - for gear drying. Crew was terrific, obviously very excited to be part of the Aggressor family, and very excited to have a boat full of Americans. Food was good, and plentiful. Local beer, and decent wine was available, along with Ama's wonderful Mojito's!

Dive own profile ?
Enforced diving restrictions All dives led by DM, one in front and one in rear. While not really your "own profile", the slow pokes who like to look for photo ops (me and my buddy), were not rushed to keep up with the group.
