Comments Our experience with Tres Pelicanos was excellent in every way. The reservations were made via email, with prompt and detailed responses to our requests/questions. The reservation for 4 divers and 7 days of diving was held with a $100 paypal deposit. The balance was paid after we completed our week of diving.
Check in at the shop was also extremely easy and our gear was completely taken care of for the remainder of the week. The boats are as fast as advertised and the "Skinny Shark" is a bit wider than the typical Cozumel Panga. We were never crowded on the boat and on several occasions (including a night dive) it was just our 4 family members. The Captains are excellent boat handlers and post-dive pick-ups were almost immediate on each dive.
The dive masters Jorge and Edgar are extremely experienced and deserve the repeat business they get. They give experienced divers appropriate latitude regarding times and profiles but were extremely helpful with our less experienced teenage children. Based upon the relatively economical cost, the ease of dealing with the operation and the expertise of the crew and staff, would definitely recommend Tres Pelicanos.

Hotel Cozumel is an adequate and economical place to stay for divers who are not going to spend a whole lot of time on the property. We took a breakfast package in order to get to the boat on time each day, but would avoid the all-inclusive.
