Comments Although we had started back diving in May of 2020 during covid- we didn't come to Mexico til we were completely vaccinated as they do not require a covid test to enter as all the other Caribbean destinations we had been to did. We have used Scubalife in the past when we came on cruise ships- they are a great operation. We picked Fiesta Americana because they pick up there on the pier. The dive crew is great. Marcello is an excellent Captain, and dive masters JP, Diego, Balto were spot on. When they pick you up, they take care of your gear til you leave. The dives were all 60-70 minutes underwater, and we did some really beautiful sites- Santa Rosa Wall, Cedral, Columbia, La Francesca, to name a few. Viz was a hundred plus. Entering the water is a backward roll, and they will hand you your camera. On my return -I took my equipment off in the water, and they were very helpful. Between dives- fruit and snacks were served. The sea life was great- ranging from turtles to sharks to Yellow headed jawfish & secretary blennies- it's all there. Our accommodations at Fiesta Americana were spacious and clean, service was great- and even though tips are included- we tipped just about everyone. They have a large pool with a swim-up bar. Although masks were suggested, the only place we wore them was in the office, and the clinic where they arrange your Covid test to return home for free. Breakfast and lunch was good- dinner was hit or miss, and when we return in August we will eat some of our meals down the road. There is nightly entertainment. There are steps on the property leading down to the water where we snorkeled, and were pleasantly surprised as we watched numerous French angels and various other fish come through on our last day.
