Comments As I have experienced for the last 4 years, Cozumel is one of the great dive locations of the Caribbean. Scuba Club is an outstanding organization and makes every effort to make your stay and dives enjoyable. The rooms are "spartan". No TVs but then you are not there to watch TV. If your spouse is a non-diver and wants more than just quiet time while you dive, you would be better to spend more money and stay at one of the other resorts on Cozumel. But if you want good food, and a focus on diving, then this is the place to stay. The divemasters lead every dive in groups of no more than 6. There may be 15 people on the boat, but they drop you in multiple groups. The currents of Cozumel keep the groups apart. They are also willing to take "suggestions". I had dove with them on their 2 tank twilight dive 2 days in a row and we went to the same 2 reefs both days. On the third day, I approached the divemaster and asked him if he would chose another set of reefs and they did with outstanding photo opportunities as a result. The instructors are top notch. I try to do one or 2 specialties each year and each year the instructor makes it fun and interesting and gives you truly personal service. I have had one on one instruction every year. No groups to deal with and the prices are the same as the states with groups. The food is very good. Each evening their change the menu to vary the options. Scuba Club is all inclusive but does not include alcohol. I did not care, but they charge $2 each for a plastic cup of coke. I think they should include that or offer a soft drink "card". The reefs have really made a come back since hurricane Wilma. I was here 6 months after Wilma and the reefs are alive again. This particular week we saw turtles galore and several nurse sharks. I was fine in a 3mm shorty but I suggest a long 3mm for night diving. All in all, if i want to concentrate on diving in Cozumel, there is no other place I would want to stay. I will be back next year.

UW Photo Comments Every boat had a labeled camera tank. Some of the boats have a shelf or sheltered area to work on a camera, but I would plan to NOT open your camera housing on the boat.
