Comments We spent 8 days diving in the middle of December 2022. We used Living Underwater 7 times since 2003. We like them because they have a fast boat, they guide a maximum of 8 divers, they are reliable, safety oriented, friendly, and they use Steel tanks. Living U/W handles your gear for the entire week. The night before our first dive, owner Jeremy Anschel meets us, collects our dive gear, and confirms our plans for days diving, Nitrox, and any rental equipment needs. The boat comes the next morning to a dock on our resort property, and the gear is all set up waiting for us. Captain Andres, Crew Ricardo are friendly, attentive, and a step ahead of whatever we needed before and after dives. Dive Master Pepe was wonderful, kind, instructive, knowledgeable, and very good at finding small critters and communicating during the dive. Dive boat is twin outboard with canopy to shade the divers, but no head. Entry was a back roll off the side, and exit was a ladder on the side. Dive profile was not strict other than maximum depth. I used Steel 95 and my wife used Steel 85. We used Nitrox EAN 32. Typical dive was 70 feet max, 40 feet avg, 80 minutes. Slight current on most dives, managed by staying below the reef tops. Many dives included swim throughs between coral pillars. Coral and sponges were colorful and healthy, and juvenile reef fish were abundant. Conditions were mostly sunny and light breeze, which helped the bottom visibility. Amazing to get close to hawksbill turtles, eagle rays and sting rays. Surface interval was spent on the boat if the conditions were calm, usually in shallow water above a sandy bottom. If conditions are rough, the surface interval is at one of the beach resorts. At the end of each dive day, we confirm our next dive day, and we step off the boat. Living U/W will rinse and clean our gear and have it dry and ready to dive the next morning. We highly recommend Living Water for intermediate and advanced divers. In my opinion, beginner divers should have some experience with current and drift dives, however, Living Underwater would be very accommodating to them
