Comments First, Dive With Martin is one of the best "fast boat" operations I've experienced in Cozumel over 35 years with generally top flight divemasters and captains/crew. No problem giving the highest ranking, esp. for experienced divers.

BUT

I am very dismayed by Cozumel Palace (formerly Plaza Las Glorious) policy now preventing other dive operators such as DWM from picking up and dropping off divers at their dock. Selfish and stupid policy. It was, in my opinion, one of the best hotels catering to mixed travelers (diver with non-diver) but no longer. Only Aqua Safari is supposedly allowed to use the dock (AS is fine but more expensive; good for newer divers who want to go only a couple days). They changed the policy midweek during our stay with no prior communication and they were cowardly hiding behind "corporate policy" which was infuriating. We had to lug our gear to Hotel Barracuda 1/4 mile away which was better than grabbing a cab to DWM boat at the marina.

Advice- Avoid Cozumel Palace until they change this policy if like variety in small group diving.

UW Photo Comments DWM uses fast boats without the luxury of a camera table but it works out fine if not everybody has a big camera setup. Crew very careful with photo gear and accommodating to make sure divers get the shot they want while keeping group safety the number one concern.

You might consider asking El Cantil ,next door, if they would let you use their pier
