Comments Dive Paradise is across a 4-lane street from the hotel. It's not difficult to cross, but there is also a pedestrian tunnel. The dive center has outdoor showers and rinse tanks and an outdoor rack to hang gear. The only secure space to store gear overnight is a bank of truly awful lockers. The lockers are about 2 feet high and wide and 3 feet deep, so gear must simply sit on the locker floor. Locker floors stay extremely wet, so gear just marinates. The only practical course is to rinse gear and take *everything* back to the hotel room. This can be a very long hike. On the bright side, the hotel rooms have large balconies set up to hang gear for drying.
Dive staff and boat crews are excellent-- helpful and professional and friendly. Dive Paradise has several boats; ours was a full-displacement hull-- reasonably roomy and comfortable, but with a speed of about 9 knots. We spent a lot of time getting to and from dive sites.
Hotel food was all-you-can-eat, but merely OK IMHO.
I paid separately for a day trip to cenotes. It took several hours to get there, and we did 2 tanks in the very crowded Los Ojos. It's a bucket-list item, but I wouldn't do it a second time.

UW Photo Comments Hotel rooms provide a real desk for your PC. That's about it.
As mentioned above, it's a long walk from the pier to the hotel room with all your gear.

I've walked thru there before(gift shops too). Nice place but yes the lockers looked basic. They did have snuba cycles there at one point. Helmet snuba in shallow water for rookies. It was pricier than Scuba club Cozumel but has nice pools and volleyball etc. so more amentities. Can get other island excurisons from their lobby too which is handy.
