Comments If Deep Blue tells you they are going to Punta Sur (Cathedral) and other remote locations, they go there. At Punta Sur Cathedral we saw numerous huge green turles, and one was sitting on the bottom being cleaned by about 5 Queen Angelfish. Our divemaster found the entrance to the Cathedral very easily. A fellow diver said with a previous operator the divemaster could not even find the entrance.

The divemasters were great at finding and pointing out very interesting unusual items, while being environmentally friendly. They had fresh fruit on the boat. In 4 seperate dive trips I've never seen Deep Blue put more than 6 divers on a boat. They normally group you with other experienced divers.

There is no drawback do diving with Deep Blue, but when you go with 3 to 5 divers on a fast boat to a remote site they charge an additional $10 to $12 (you see it listed on their price list). You get what you pay for with them. If I'm going all the way to Cozumel I'll spend the extra $60-$90 for 5 days of great diving at remote sites.
