Comments We booked the resort thru our timeshare, but we found a bit too late that the resort(Cozumel Palace) is all inclusive resort. I normally stay away from such places. Nothing against the resort but since my wife are I are not drinkers, don't eat seafood and my wife is vegetarian, we end up paying way more than what we consume. Part of inclusive fee included Diving. So we booked with the in house dive operation which was Aqua Safari and a outside diver operatorion which was Blue XT

Blue XT was an excellent Dive operations, great professional divermaster(Pedro), small boat, cater to advance divers and most importantly dead on Time. I was really impress with them.

I had red some reviews abut Aqua and they seem good, but compared to Blue, they were armature. Nothing to really complain about but both my wife and I love the Blue a lot more, and If we ever go back to Cozumel let our in resort credits be damned, we will booked exclusively with The Blue.

Cozumel Place itself was nice, they don't have much selection when it comes to vegetarian foods..They have a Mexican Restaurant,an Asian fusion, an Italian and A Grill. The food is good (above average), but remember breakfast lunch and dinner is all there and we did ran out of things to try and had to go on a rerun eating.

This was my first time in Cozumel despite 20 years of diving everywhere else. I have to say I was impressed with Cozumel, not so much diving in itself but the culture, people, the Island. Diving was OK to Good. We did see some sharks and dozen rays and Eagle rays which was awesome, other than garden variety of Caribbean critters, including a blue banned toadFish..

The bottom line is....Did I enjoy my time and my diving there? Yes absolutely.

Would I go back? Probably not, given there some many other places to visit.
