Comments I have been going to Puerto Adventurous for 8? years and diving with Aquanauts every time. Jim and his family run business have given me such great service since the first time I walked in the shop.
Diving in PA isn't Cozumel for sure. Our dives were usually a 9 AM departure, 6 to 8 divers with sometimes 2 dive masters if there were new divers in the group. A 10 to 15 minute boat ride to the dive and usually one hour plus dives. Usually a bit of current but no real rippers. Most dives 40 to 60 feet.
Back by lunch which you can select from eight or so restaurants at the marina.
This particular day I was the only diver and as soon as the dive master and I descended it was like dropping into an Idaho blizzard. I had never seen coral spawning and for 70 minutes it was a amazing show.
As far as I could see giant white flakes were pouring out of barrel cactus like miniature volcanoes. I understand that everything (moon, temperature and whatever) has to be just right for this to phenomenal
show to happen. I have seen some amazing things in 50+ years diving but this was a first for me. This Idaho boy was totally dazzled.
