Comments We arrived on Monday after Hurricane Charley went by on Thursday. They got lots of rain - needed - and some wind. No one evacuated. The result was less than perfect viz at Bloody Bay and Jackson. We came here 10-15 years ago and wanted to see the "improvements" and lament the good ole days. Great diving . The people at Southern Cross Club couldn't have been more helpful. 3 old timers enjoyed their stay. Because of the rain - lots of flying teeth. Take "Catus Juice" instead of deet - stuff works. The improvements were- AC in the bedroom and better food. The scuba dock is nice with fresh water and wetsuit hang ups near the boat. Steve and Jason are the experienced DM's - both Brits. Helpful with the small stuff - pipefish and seahorses in Cayman? Saw turtles nearly every dive. Saw reef, nurse, bull and hammerheads. Eagle and sting rays. Huge Grouper - Nassau and Tiger. Coral and sponges were healthly looking. Videoed a large group of squid - even got two mating - I think. International group of friendly divers. I was the only jerk with a camera. Spacious dive boat had proper working radio - fresh water and a well equipted first aid kit. Max.7 divers on our trip - usually 5 or 6. Dammed nice trip

UW Photo Comments Fresh water tank on the boat. Rinse facilities on the dock and in the rooms. Bring your own film. With digital photos and video - this question is less relevant than in the past. Not sure there is a processing facility on the island - doubt it
