Comments Our large group (22) had to divert from Grand Turk about 1 month in advance of the trip due to hurricane damage. Because of our size and the timing we were limited as to destinations. We stayed at Margaritaville on 7 mile beach. It had just opened. Some areas were not yet open and still under construction. During our visit, conference facilities and some dining options were not available. Overall the location was great - on beach, close enough to town to walk to restaurants/stores. The property is old and despite renovations is a bit tired in places. The staff is great and were very helpful. What food was there was good. Rooms are smallish but fine. There are limited to no facilities for dive gear care/etc. Free parking for rental cars. Nice pool and pool bar. The resort plays Jimmy Buffet videos 24/7/365 in bars and rooms.

Red Sail is the "house" operator for the resort. They are headquartered at Westin. They agreed to take our group on late notice. They were very helpful and arranged transport to dive boat each day. The boat was spacious and comfortable. The staff was great. They agreed to take us to North Wall sites whenever possible based on weather. Guides were helpful and several of them were great critter spotters. During our week we had some chop and water was a bit stirred up at times. In general the coral/reef looked very healthy on the North Wall. We didn't see a lot of large stuff but enjoyed the diving. Tanks had good fills. Boat had water, fruit for surface interval and covered cabin for relief from the sun. For our group Red Sail did a great job.
