Comments The weather was cloudy with some rain during dives and driving rain and wind over night. Came as close as I ever want to come to a water lighting strike on the ride back in from a morning dive.

The diving was not perfect Cayman conditions due to the storms that had been through and chopped up the water before we arrived. However, our family fully enjoyed the dives each day and we have nothing but great things to say about the operator, Ocean Frontiers, and all of their staff. Except for one dive with fairly stiff current, the pace was liesurely and planned to allow for the range of experience. Several technically challenging coral tubes/ shoots were included - entering at about 65' and then exiting out on the wall at 100' or so. Very cool, but seemed unnecessarily risky for inexperienced level divers without lights on a cloudy and dim day. Not really a complaint, but something to think about if you are with younger, less experienced divers. Boats are in pretty good shape except for surfaces on the diving platforms that caused more than one fall during our three days.

For us, the crews and dive staff are always a make or break proposition for any dive vacation. These guys have a big thumbs up from all in our group which numbered about 20. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Compass Point and the Ocean Frontier folks on Cayman's East End for another great experience.
