Comments My wife and I returned to Ocean Frontiers after the Covid restrictions were finally eased. The booking process is easy and Lesley is always great to work with. We flew nonstop from Charlotte to Georgetown which is about 3 hours and an easy flight. We left our car at the Park and Go which has a fast and frequent shuttle service. A car is included in the package and is certainly adequate. The drive from the airport is about 35 minutes, quite easy if you are careful with round abouts driving on the left!
The condos at Compass Point are well maintained and clean, and ours was right at the boat dock. The tv system is plus/minus, certainly no complaints about the condo, which has great views.
The dive operation is superb. This is valet diving and they record your c-cards, etc. and weights, tank size, etc so when you return, they are ready for you. The dive boats are all spacious well maintained Newton 46’s. The nitrox was consistently 31-32%. We did 13 dives for the week, with fairly short rides to the sites. The viz was over 100’ on the walls, 70’ or so on the reefs. The dive operation is very environmentally sensitive. The fish life was very good and they try to control the lionfish population. There were sharks, rays and turtles and the fish life was very good.
The Friday afternoon macro dive is really neat. This is done inside the reef, and the depth is 15-26’, with bottom times of 70-80 minutes. The dive staff is superb, with some staff having been there for 6-8 years.
Eagle Ray’s Bar and Grill is on-site and a basic breakfast is included in the package. We ate excellent lionfish tacos several times. A car is needed to visit local restaurants such as Tukka’s, South Coast Bar & Grill, Over the Edge, la Casita, and Blue Rock. Grocery stores, closed on Sundays, are relatively close and well stocked.
This was our 7-8th times at Ocean Frontiers and we will return. We had been to Cayman Dive Lodge 3 times before Ivan destroyed it so we greatly prefer the East End and will continue to use this excellent dive operation, which, in my opinion, is unsurpassed in quality of service.

Nice trip report Tripp. My wife and I are planning a week trip before the end of the year, this probably clinched it. We were wondering how Compass Point and Ocean Frontiers were doing. Do you have your green shorts yet? Very best, Craig
