Comments Great operation, and priced better than others I looked at. Found them by a referral from a local Midwest dive shop. We let them pick us up the first day. After that we drove ourselves. The 5 days we dove, they went out of West Bay dock along with many other shops. North side was a little too rough this time of year. At the end of the week after we were done, all boats moved to south side due to large swells predicted to come in, but they were delayed a day.

After a release form that almost nobody fills out right the first time, (could use some simplification) you are off diving. From West bay, the rides were 5 minutes or so.
Two 36’ Newtons (nearly identical) dive boats, plenty of shade and cover from the rain/wind. They have a 3rd smaller/faster boat I was not on.

They always tried to pick spots that had low current. Dive times were not limited. Just head up to a safety stop at 800psi. So every dive we had 60-80 min. Sometimes it was tough to squeeze that out due to depth and deco times. My computer worked harder on this trip than it has in a long time. This probably would have been the best place for Nitrox of anyplace I've been in years.

All the dive guides went nice and slow. Most other places I dive I don’t really want to try and keep up. I would say Nate was the fastest, although not unreasonable, of the handful we dove with for a week.

My only ‘complaint’ is the valet dive style. And they tell you some won’t like it. Where you sit on a bench at the back and they bring your tank to you. My wife liked the valet service as she didn’t have to walk on the boat wearing fins and a tank. So it’s a mixed review. It’s just that it takes longer to get everyone in the water. We would wait on the bottom for 10-17 minutes (17 was a slow equalization person) for the rest of the group to get down before the guided dive would start.
This would not normally be a problem other that first dive moorings were generally 50’s or so. So you have to really watch your computer on the rest of the dive. They offer free dive computers to all, so I borrowed one to compare to my own.
