Comments My son and I had the pleasure of doing six dives over three days with Indigo Divers while on our family vacation. I had decided
to use them after reading other divers reports in Undercurrent, and
I was totally satisfied with the diving experience.
Indigo Divers is operated by the husband and wife team of Chris
and Kate. They run a first rate operation with a beautiful, comfortable, fast boat catering to six or less divers. Pick up at our hotel was prompt with only a short ride to the boat. On our first
day we had five total divers, on the second day it was just me and my
son, and on the third day only us and one other diver. Service was excellent with good briefings before each dive. The first dive each day was a wall dive to a max depth of about 100-110 feet, with the second dive usually a nice reef dive in 30-60 feet. Visibility was not quite as good as I expected, probably due to some recent rainfall and shore construction. Water was a very comfortable 84
degrees with calm conditions and no significant current.
Kate and Chris were both great at finding lots of little
creatures on every dive, we also saw several sea turtles but
unfortunately no large fish and only a couple of rays. Surface intervals were spent with cookies, fruit, and good conversation.
Overall a very pleasant experience which I hope to repeat in the near future.
We stayed at the Ritz Carlton which worked out well for us
especially for our non diving family members. We usually were back from our morning dives by 11:30AM leaving plenty of time for family
activities. Service at the Ritz was outstanding, and only about
five minutes from the dive boat.
I highly recommend Indigo Divers-first class service, no crowded dive boat and very reasonably priced.
