Comments Cobalt Coast resort was informal, friendly, and excellent. Accommodations and restaurant were a delight.
I had signed up for standard two tank morning boat-dives on 26-29 October. On the 26th and the morning of the 27th, it was wet and windy, and DiveTech trucked divers over to the leeward west-side and we dove off Seven Mile Beach instead of the North Wall area. On the 28th and 29th, it was sunny and calm, with mebbie one foot of chop at the resort, but DiveTech still trucked us to the west-side and we re-dove sites off Seven Mile Beach :-(
West-side diving is only so-so. I hear that the north-wall is superior, but I don't know, because I did not get to dive there. I don't know how flat the water has to be before DiveTech will visit the north wall.
The Cobalt Coast resort was excellent, but you don't stay there in order to dive Seven Mile Beach.
