Comments In a nutshell, did this May 14 - 21 trip aboard the 110 foot long, 22 foot wide boat, which has 3 cabin categories - I did the cheapest (twin share; a small 2 bunk room that shares an adjacent bathroom with another twin share room). Bunk was comfortable and room storage adequate for my needs; I spend very little time in the room on a live-aboard. Bathroom was narrow, but I usually showered off after dives on the back of the boat so not a problem. Great crew took good care of us. Chef Kingsley is quite reputable and the food was fine.

Diving is standard Caribbean warm, very good viz. diving. Currents were minimal and never a problem. We did 25 dives over 14 sites (would've been 13, but fisherman were using a site the Captain wanted to hit); 5 on Grand Cayman, 16 off Little Cayman (the Bloody Bay Wall/Jackson's Bight area) and 2 on the Russian Destroyer off Cayman Brac. Varied topography (including strongly vertical walls), good mix of life (e.g.: reef & nurse sharks, Nassau, tiger and yellow fish grouper, queen & ocean trigger fish, green morays, lots of scrawled filefish), and more docile fish than is typical (e.g.: Nassau grouper that approach and allow touching; a sea turtle swam out to check out a diver). We hit 3 wrecks; the Doc Poulson, Keith Tibbett's Russian Destroyer and the Kittiwake.

They don't allow solo diving but buddy teams can go do their own thing. Nitrox mix tended to turn around 30%.

Bloody Bay Wall off Little Cayman has a reputation for possibly the best Caribbean diving, which put it on my bucket list. The Cayman Aggressor IV proved an excellent way to dive the Cayman islands region.
