Comments This was our third trip on the Cayman Aggressor IV and we pleased with the trip as always. Captain Niall runs a great operation and ensures that his guests are happy and safe. His brother Alan was the cook this week and the food was very good, especially for the four vegetarians on board. Alan went out of his way to make sure we had as good a meal as the carnivores on board. Unfortunately, we went the week of Hurricane Irma and were not able to make it to Cayman Brac or Little Cayman. Niall made sure we got lots of good diving in, in spite of the weather. Because we stayed in the Grand Cayman area, we got to do extra dives on sites like Babylon and were quite pleased with this. It was nice to be able to fully explore reefs that we usually get one or two dives there. Our week was cut short by the hurricane and Aggressor made good on their “Storm Check Program.” Three couples lived in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area and Niall assisted them with changing their flights and getting to the airport early to get home before the storm hit. The rest of us enjoyed an extra day on shore and the crew rented a van to take us to Georgetown and other attractions. We had planned a few extra days at the Holiday Inn Resort and were ferried back and forth by the crew so we wouldn’t miss the party on the last night. All in all, this is a great boat and a fantastic crew who goes out of their way to make sure everyone has a wonderful trip.
