Comments While you can dive with a 7-9 mil it is much better to use a drysuit. Food is plentiful but is home style not resort-style. Cathy tries to accommodate your food preference if you let her know. Bring your own Meals.
The dive boat has a new engine and is now a single prop. She is faster and more fuel efficient.
The first two days there was a red tide so the dives were dark, though it cleared up later. There usually is 20 foot layer of plankton in the fall but this year it was darker. A light is worthwhile.
Because of the nature of the Sound entry and exit is reasonable though on some dives a current can complicate the dives. Mostly you are diving an anchor line to a pinnacle.
Excellent value.
