Comments Another fantastic trip to Bonaire! Stayed 2 weeks at The Plaza resort as usual. They have been working hard to renovate their rooms and property and it shows.

Their staff has always been very friendly and it's nice to see familiar faces working there over the years when we've stayed.

They went to an "all inclusive" a few years back. Drinks and food are included. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are at The Tipsy Seagull. They provide a wide selection of foods to choose from and the food is above average.

They also have some "theme" dinner nights, i.e., Italian, Mexican, etc.

The property has a very nice beach for lounging and 18th Palm is their "house reef." We've dove the site many, many times and have seen just about everything there, from seahorse, turtles, rays, octopus, hog fish, puffer fish, crab, etc.

Toucan Diving is the dive operation at the resort. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly.

Getting gear down from the storage lockers to the beach can be a challenge. They now have several wheelbarrows to move dive equipment back and forth making the trek easier.

All and all another great time and we will be back. Just not soon enough.

UW Photo Comments We did 4 boat dives with Div'Ocean Bonaire ([divoceanbonaire.com link]) which is next to The Plaza. They take out very small groups of 4-8 divers. Great service. We used them in 2016 as well and highly recommend.

Have done boat dives with Plaza in the past but they had some larger groups going out this year. Would recommend them as well.
