Comments This was about our 7th trip to Divi Flamingo with our dive shop, Wateree Dive Center in Columbia, SC. Thank goodness Delta flies from Atlanta directly and we don't have to go through Montego Bay, which is #1 on my list for "hassles while traveling." The rooms are adequate, but clean. The service at Divi Flamingo is generally good. We ate breakfast and lunch at the resort and dinner downtown, which is only a short walk from the resort. Capriccios remains excellent.

The dive operation is good and some of the divemasters have been there a long time. We asked for two or three particularly, but for whatever reason, this did not happen. The diving remains quite good. The corals are still overall in good shape, with good fish life. We saw multiple seahorses, frogfish, and a diverse fishlife. Compared to a lot of places, I think the diving is still quite good.
Fortunately, no lionfish have been seen in Bonaire, from what I know.
The boats are good and reliable, although some show their age.

Klein Bonaire really has nice corals and fishlife. The Hilma Hooker is still an OK wreck, but after a quick tour, we went over to the reef and saw plenty of lobster, and a nice spotted eagle ray.

This continues to be a great dive destination, and with Delta flying nonstop from Atlanta, it really helps. The only problem was that none of our luggage got back to Columbia Saturday night and did not arrive until Monday AM. The small jet did not handle the gear and we had to wait for it to make it to Columbia. This a recurring problem from Atlanta to Columbia and it gets kinda old. This is a "Delta" problem, however. We'll keep returning to Bonaire.
