Comments Stayed in a Junior Suite for 7 nights. These rooms have a coffee pot, microwave, dishes and utensils for 2 and a sink. Our last night we switched to a pool side room (we knew this when we made our reservation). Wouldn't recommend this type room if you want to fix anything to eat. It had been "remodled" so it had a microwave, but no sink or dishes.

Beaware, Captain Don's charges extra for nitrox. Accessing tanks for shore diving is not as convenient as some of the other places we've stayed. The tanks must be ferried on a two wheel dolly to and from your truck.

Bonaire diving is mostly about the small stuff. Many great photo opportunities. Numerous tropicals, think clouds of fish. Came across 3-4 small lionfish. We also saw several tarpons and a couple of large groupers and snappers.

We've been going to Bonaire since the early 1990's. Like most everywhere, the coral health has definitely declined over the years.

The cruise ships that have been visiting only in the winter are going to start coming year round after the first of the year. Not good new for the health of the reef.
