Comments Good:
1. The highlight of the trip was the captain (Piers) and crew (Jody, Fermin, Francisco, and Anna). Their attentiveness to our needs and wishes was outstanding. Without being overbearing or obtrusive, Piers and Fermin made themselves available to assist newer divers with shedding unnecessary weight, better trim and buoyancy control, and new skills (night dives, deeper dives). By the end of the week, all newer divers had made measurable progress, and felt much more at ease and confident in the water.
2. On Friday afternoon, the crew made a variety of land excursions available. Our group went to the Mayan ruins at Altun Ha. I would recommend this excursion.
3. The food was very good and plentiful, but shy of great.

Bad:
1. One of the cabins had an atrocious odor from some sort of mechanical problem. Fortunately, it was not our cabin. Unfortunately, it had to be someone's cabin, and that someone was a couple of our friends.
2. The Aggressor cabins are cramped, no way around it. However, if one does all dives (I did), you spend little time in the cabin other than dead-to-the-world asleep.
3. The boat had taken on some bad fuel, and the trip was minimally interrupted for refueling from another liveaboard. This should actually switch to the "good" category, as Captain Piers and the crew handled it very well and no dives were lost.
4. No sharks. None. Not even on the shark feeding dive. There were a good number of turtles, but no eagle rays or mantas. I was a bit disappointed by the relatively few exotic marine species that we encountered. All the dives seemed about the same.
5. More than one of the cylinders had worn O-rings, and the crew reported that they had difficulty in obtaining satisfactory O-rings. Huh?
