Comments First of all, Avalon Divers is fabulous. Anne Marie and her brother (boat captain whose name I forget) are the BEST. If you go during Whale Shark time, then they use their regular dive masters (who are first rate!) to do only whale shark dives (which cost a little extra). They bring in locals from Belize City to work the regular dives but they seemed to know the reefs well and were wonderfully helpful. I cannot say enough good things about Avalon Divers. I would go back again outside of Whale Shark time (one week each month during the "season" in the Spring) just to do a little diving again with the regular guys, who really were knowledgeable. The boat rides for all the dives are LONG. We left Chabil Mar around 6 many mornings and didnt get back until around 6 or 7. Thus we ordered food from Chabil Mar, which wasnt terrible but wasnt terrific either. Boat rides are typically one-two hours or more each way. Take a BOOK. I got a little tired of the rides but the boat is comfortable. They provide snacks and lunch, all of which were healthy and good. Chabil Mar was absolutely beautiful. I would definitely stay there again.

So if you can't say enough good why all the one stars. One star indicates to me that they really stunk.

I meant TOP NOTCH so if I need to amend my report, please let me know how. I don't write these reviews often so I need change it. It should be FOUR STARS except I don't do photography so have nothing to say about that.
