Comments i had read my chapbooks b4 going on this trip.i had read that it was like camping out at sea.(not far from the truth.i had read that it was tight quarters.they were being kind.it was extremely tight.being 6'4",i found the entrances to the sleeping quarters and sometimes the entrance to the dining area/kitchen to be painfully short for me.banged my head more times than i care to remember.
overall, though,it was a good deal for the money and were it not for my height,i would not mind going back again.unfortunately i will probably be buried measuring 6' so will not subject my head to that treatment again.we took the weekend trip(4 days) which is perfect in terms of length of time.
food was nothing to write home about but was decent.the service was good and the crew friendly(as always there is always a wacko in the crowd but it just makes for a good time).if you've never done blackbeard,it certainly is worth trying it once.
