Comments I've been out with Lost Island Voyages on The Avalon multiple times. This year we decided to do 2 weeks back to back (2 different trips). Capt Ray is amazing and makes sure everyone has a fantastic time. The Avalon is a 65' sailing vessel that takes 12 passengers & 3 to 4 crew.

Week 1 was windy so we stayed leeward and shallow which worked out well as I had 5 OW students and 1 AOW student. We headed down the the Exuma Island chain as far as Thunderball Grotto (where a scene from the James Bond Movie Thunderball with Sean Connery). We enjoyed Pig Beach and the swimming pigs. We visited Iguana Beach during the trip too. The Capt set up a halyard swing and we basically had a rope swing on the boat too. Diving was generally shallow because of the winds. There is algae on the reefs that do not get a lot of current, but still nice. Best dive of the week was Jeep Reef.

Week 2 we had no wind and glassy water. We dove off of Eluthera on this week, and because of the calm seas got out to Little San Salvador Island that we had never visited, and got to dive 2 sites we had never visited before. Because of the calm waters, we were able dive walls this week.

Both weeks we were able to dive the Lost Blue Hole which we always enjoy.

I can not recommend Lost Island Voyages enough!
