Comments Our experience was pretty much in line with previous reports: great hospitality, comfortable but not luxurious accommodations, an odd scarcity of the desalinated drinking water (the tapwater is safe but brackish), and very good but not superabundant food (normally a selection of two mains at lunch and dinner). The staff did an incredible job of opening the resort for us after a long hiatus due to the pandemic.

Seeing Caribbean reef sharks and a healthy reef on every dive was a treat. Most dives had vis. at 100+ feet. The Nitrox system has arrived but has not been installed (still need the storage bank to arrive). We had two boats with about 15 divers on each. Some of the dives can be deeper, and boats have a hookah regulator at 20 fsw in case someone is low on air (or didn't handle NDL prudently). With the closure of ClubMed, you'll have every dive site to just your group.

COVID protocols were reasonable. Our departure test was administered at the resort (thanks, Michelle!!) which was super convenient compared to the limited hours at the clinic.

Take your bug spray. (We had good luck with picaridin, but others used DEET.) We would have liked to see a restriction to reef-safe sunscreen. The shade on the boat was adequate, plus there was no gathering on the surface, so we did not feel the need to slather between dives.

The marina is a 4-5 minute walk from the resort. No one in our group required accommodation, but given the great hospitality, I'm sure that a ride could be arranged for people with limited mobility.

The variability of the Bahamas Air schedule and the lack of late flights out of NAS led us to spend a night at either end of the trip in Nassau.

UW Photo Comments One boat has a camera table, one does not. Both boats have a large trash can for rinsing cameras. Photographers were welcome to use bench space in the dive shop, but there was no dedicated space for photographers.
