Comments The Bad: 1) Towels in the cabins are only changed every few days, so it feels as if they are always wet. You get 1 dive deck towel per day, so you're drying off all day with a wet towel. 2)Recommend having two dive masters in the water. There were 5 divemasters onboard, and I only recall the shark dive with more than 1 divemaster. On the first diving day, the divemaster leading the dive got reckless (possibly narc'd?), got lost and some divers needed rescuing (hence the *** for beginner diving). 3) They allowed guests to fish & spear, which I found to be quite contrary since fishlife wasn't abundant (hence the ** for environmental sensitivity). While they served the fish that were caught, the giant lobster that was speared by a guest mysteriously disappeared.

The Good: 1) Two enclosed showers on the deck were very convenient 2) Captain Ron did a great job 3) Boat had a very spacious layout 4) Non-diving activities such as snorkeling, island excursions were fun. Fishing & spearing were also offered.

Additional Comments: 1) While we weren't hassled about the tipping as I've read in other posts, its made very obvious that a minimum tip of $300 per person is expected and $440 is preferred. 2) The $65 DVD offered was on the skimpy side compared to DVDs we've acquired on other liveaboards, and the $40 photo CD was bare bones and appeared that the photos had been downloaded from the camera into two folders: one with 'good' photos and another with the 'bad' photos. Photo CD's we've acquired on other liveaboards were put to music, the photos cleaned up, i.e., some effort had been made to put together a nice collection of photos. 3) The after dive snacks pretty much consisted of fruit/muffins/cookies which were put out in the morning and meant to be our in between snacks all day. Other liveaboards offered different and fresh snacks in between each dive.

Overall, the trip was nice and we had fun. Although I don't think we would repeat this trip, we met others onboard who were enthusiastic repeat customers.
